Transport for all?
Compelling documentary made with young people at Camden Summer University exploring the issue of accessibility for disabled people on public transport, made in collaboration with the campaigning group Transport for All.
The young people shot very strong material after a couple of days training, so good in fact that a section of it was used on the news programme ITN.
“We were delighted with the short films that Suzanne and the young people of Camden Summer University made about transport access. The young people were enthusiastic and professional, evidently engaged in the project; and the finished documentaries were powerful and persuasive. I’m sure that the fact that we won both our campaign on manual boarding ramps and our campaign to make Crossrail accessible was in part due to how the films helped get the issue out to a wider audience.”
